Since my earliest childhood I wanted to become a creative.
Starting to draw and shape figurines I also re-shaped some of my purchased action figures with clay,
if they didn’t suit me well.
It is no coincidence that I have been doing that until today, even in a slightly different manner:
Character designis one of my main talents. In combination with powerful software like ZBrushI am able to createa broad variety: Fromhumanoid characters tomonsters and alien creatures.Due tomy past and present as movie enthusiastI get inspiredin developingmy ownideas forcharacters,scenarios and narrations.
To realize my ideas professionallyI started my academic life with my bachelor studies, where I was taught the principles of design.To bracemymedia creation skills I enrolled at FolkwangUniversity of the Arts for my master studiesin cooperation with the SAE institute.For graduationI was able to create thecomplete video game demoof »INQU –Searching for Origin«. I used the medium »video game« to achieve the goal of complex narration in combination with elaborate visual design.
My philosophy of life is to work in the creative direction, where I can unite my fertile activities with my interests. These range from my movieenthusiasmup tomy preference in sports. I discovered CrossFit some time ago –the perfect way for me to coordinate balance, strength, stamina, precision, agilityand physical feeling.

About Master Project: »INQU – Searching For Origin«
To graduate in my master studies, I had to make a media project ready for the market – in my case: the video game concept of INQU.
The master thesis results in a playable demo of the game as well as in the concept.
It was shown in the final presentation with the trailer aside. Most of the areas included in the production were done on my own.
The whole game is planned to be a walking simulator with minimal interaction, in which the player experiences a foreign setting in form of a highly developed alien life form. To uncover the depths of the story the player has to search for puzzle pieces and put the hidden information together. In addition to the profound storyline the game features a dark and eerie atmospheric sci-fi horror experience.

LANDSCAPE
The setting is a world sculpted by various natural calamities and anomalies with lots of hazards and strange beings.
Only a few areas are still inhabitable. The habitable zones of this world are divided in different sectors which provide sparse living space.There are complete different climatic zones next to each other. It happens to have their origins in unknown circumstances long time ago. A fallow wilderness is surrounded by an endless sandy dessert. Its dunes fluid-transition into ice regions, which do almost not enable the existence of life.
This boundless wasteland contains lots of the ancient world’s ruins. The ruins seem to hint at complex urbanizations – spread around the whole planet. To fit in the population of a whole country technological highly developed cities were crafted in an immense extent.
